Sound Cushion Underlay
Sound Cushion has been specially formulated as an efficient self levelling membrane system to reduce acoustic transmission through various flooring substrates also with improved application techniques and times by providing a complete system alternative.
Advantages
- Extremely efficient application process.
- Built-in self levelling properties will effectively level concrete/composite flooring eliminating “ridging” leaving a level floor with the flexibility to absorb movement.
- Voids & Imperfections are filled, leaving a complete acoustic layer out to wall skirts without gaps.
- Cross-linking with substrate eliminating the future possibility of the “drummy tile” effect
- Obvious benefits over rubber mat systems in the event of fire.
- Standard monoflex tile adhesives can be utilised, cross linking to the acoustic layer providing a complete cementitious system from tile to slab/substrate.
- Application times are improved due to the product characteristics.
- When laid over timber flooring it will tighten tongue and groove eliminating “floor squeak".
- Low compression flexibility avoiding the possibility of tile and grout cracking when heavy items are moved across the tiled surface.
- Sound Cushion will eliminate pre-surface preparation in most cases with built-in levelling properties.
- Substrates with the poorest surface finish can be levelled and made ready to tile or cover.
- No application restrictions with floor shape and size.
- Suitable to work with under floor heating systems and wet area sealers.
- Our fully trained team of professional applicators will manage and complete your project on-time.
- Product guarantee issued on completion of each project, giving piece of mind.
